WWI & WWII Photo and Document Submission Form 
A partnership with the Virginia WWI and WWII Commission and the Library of Virginia

If you are interested in helping develop the Virginia WWI and WWII Commemoration Commission's Profiles of Honor program, then please send us your World War I or World War II veteran related images and we will add them to our ever-growing collection to be viewed online via our website, and Flickr accounts.

 

If you are not sure of what images or documents to submit, an example of what type of information should be submitted can be viewed below...

Example:

1st Lt. John R. Castleman

Berryville, VA

99th Aero Squadron,

Army Air Corps - WWI

He was a pilot who served in World War I, and earned the Distinguished Service Cross and Silver Star.

Before you submit your WWI or WWII photograph or document, please make sure your image is at least 1000 x 1000 pixels in size (preferably scanned at 300dpi) and 5MB or less. Accepted file types are JPEG, PNG, BMP or PDF.
